Hackers are now capable of attacking topmost Android Smartphones.

SnapDragon Processors Are The Target

Android devices pulled by Snapdragon are responsive to this threat. These processors allow hackers to have access to the smartphone. If hackers connect with the same Wi-Fi, access is achieved.

Furthermore, according to QualPwn, it is not necessary for a hacker to be in the same place where the targeted device is present.

Issues were reported by a Security member of the Chinese gaming guru, Tencent. Afterward, they were disclosed at the Black Hat cybersecurity event in Las Vegas, the previous week.

Involvement of Third-Party Applications

They both talked about how WiFi connects to the processor’s hardware. Once they are connected, the third-party applications send the destructive data and run the code so that hackers could have full assess to a victim’s smartphone. In addition to this, Blade said that devices supported by Snapdragon 845 and 835 will more likely to be on stake. The tests were done on Google Pixel smartphones for further investigation.
