Angry Birds – More than just a Game!

Apple App store was always a hit, and with the launch of the the successful iPhone 3g and 3gs and its easy to use and highly optimized IOS, the App Store became even more popular. Millions of Applications were uploaded daily to the App store; which took Apple to the very top compared to its competitors at the time!

Out of the Millions of Games/Applications, the most significant,was a funny little game, that was produced by a finland based company called “Rovio”. That tiny game has been downloaded over 120 Million times till now, and is considered to be the most successful mobile game/application in history, Yes! I am talking about “Angry Birds”!

Having a simple story line, that a group of birds on the mission to retrieve their eggs from the evil pigs who stole them. The game itself is based on the age old concept “Deploy and Destroy”!

Player has to catapult the birds, who ultimately destroy obstacles in their way as well as smashing those pigs who stole their eggs, each bird has its own specialty.

Angry birds had rocked the App Store for a while, and when Android OS had set its foot in the OS world and made a version to its compatibility, millions of mobile users more had started installing the game!

Being an Android user myself, I also had the pleasure to download the game, and I have to say that the game is simply amazing! and to be honest, the many people that I know of; who have android devices, all have the game installed!
