The Expensive Gold-Plated Redmi K20 and K20 Pro are Coming

Back in May, Xiaomi has unveiled Redmi K20 and K20 Pro to compete with OnePlus 7 Pro. After the regular model, Xiaomi has also unveiled the special Avenger Edition. Now the company is also working on another special gold-plated Redmi K20 ad K20 Pro edition. This information is quite official. As the company’s Global VP Manu Kumar Jain has tweeted that Redmi will unveil a special golden limited edition of the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro tomorrow.

He posted an image of both the phones on Twitter. The image contains a gold-plated phone with a diamond-encrusted K logo in the bottom corner. The image has a carbon-like texture as the background. The interesting thing about this phone is that it is very costly. The price of the special gold-plated Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will be INR 480,000 (~€6,200) which is around PKR 11,14,000 approximately.

The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro come with 6.39-inch AMOLED screen. Both phones come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. For photography lovers, the phones come with a triple camera with a 48MP main snapper with a telephoto and ultrawide shooter. Moreover, the phones have powerful 4,000mAh battery. The difference is that K20 Pro comes with Snapdragon 855 while the K20 uses a Snapdragon 730 processor.

Now the only question is why the phone is so expensive? PKR 11 lacs is a big amount. So, it may possibly the phone is made up of real gold. Let’s see what actually the phone is made up of.
