Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, has just launched a new high-end device, 8A. Honor 8A is Now Official with a Teardrop Notch. Honor is well-known for launching smartphones with great specs but at the affordable price. The latest smartphone also features many high-end specs. Let’s check out all.
Honor 8A runs Android 9 Pie
The Honor 8A features a 6.09-inch, 720 x 1560 pixel, IPS display with a teardrop notch. The phone has latest MediaTek’s 12nm Helio P35 MT6765chipset that has eight Cortex-A53 cores, at 2.3GHz and a PowerVR GE8320. Furthermore, the phone has 3GB RAM and give users a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of storage. However, the users can expand the memory via microSD. Interestingly, the phone runs Android 9 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9.0.
However, the device comes with dual cameras. The phone has a 13MP, f/1.8 main snapper with PDAF. For selfie lovers, the phone has an 8MP, f/2.0 camera. Also, the phone is powered by a 3,020 mAh battery. Other specs include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi ac, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. Furthermore, Honor Play 8A does sport a USB Type-C port.
Price and Availability of Honor 8A:
The company has not revealed the pricing detail yet. However, it will cost between $119-$129. Also, the phone will go on sale on January 8th. So we may get the pricing detail by tomorrow.
