According to me, the major difference in the trio is in their processors. Otherwise, the handsets are quite identical to each other in other aspects. Huawei Nova 5 seems quite interesting to me because it is the first ever handset that is powered by the Kirin 810 Chipset. The all-new Kirin 810 SoC is based on a 7nm process and is said to be the successor to the Kirin 710 SoC. It has powerful cores so it will definitely play an important role in better performance of the handset.

The Quad camera setup of the handsets seems also good. The large 6.39″ OLED Panel will be quite good for streaming. Together with that, the trio has a good battery capacity to keep the lights on. So, overall the handsets of this Series are packed with good specs. If you want to get your hands on a cheaper phone, then Nova 5i will be a fine option. However, it has a typical Kirin 710 SoC. Otherwise, the Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro are definitely good options under the same price tag starting from CNY2999.
