Intel All Set to Launch 100 Self-Driving Cars

Self-driving car is the next amazing thing in coming days as many big players have entered into this game. Recently, Intel acquires Israeli tech company Mobileye for $15 Billion. Yesterday, Intel further exposed its plans about self-driving cars and announced that Intel All Set to Launch 100 Self-Driving Cars.

Intel All Set to Launch 100 Self-Driving Cars

Intel said that:

“It will begin rolling out fully autonomous vehicles later this year for testing in Europe, Israel, and the US. The fleet will eventually have more than 100 vehicles.”

Intel engineering team said that:

“Building cars and testing them in real-world conditions provides immediate feedback and will accelerate delivery of technologies and solutions for highly and fully autonomous vehicles.”

This fleet of self driving cars will be equipped with latest technologies including mapping and sensing for which Mobileye has expertise in the market.

After the self-driving cars project, Intel will enter into a new domain after its computer chip-making venture.
