The California-based company revealed in an online post that its Spectacles will be “available soon,” with media rumors pegging the price at $130 a pair. It also announced that it is changing its name to Snap Inc.
“We’ve been working for the past few years to develop a totally new type of camera.”
Said the post by Team Snap.
“Spectacles are sunglasses with an incorporated video camera that makes it easy to create Memories.”
Earlier this year, Snap added a method to save pictures as “Memories,” a move for a service known for messages that disappear after being seen.
Spectacles were owed as having one of the minimum wireless cameras in the world. They will be capable of taking a day’s cost of “Snaps” on a single charge. The sunglasses connect to Snap software wirelessly using Bluetooth or wifi connections.
Spectacles cameras take video from the outlook of wearers, claim a 115-degree field of view. They take snippets of video projected for sharing at the service. Snapchat’s spectacles will let you record your life, 10 seconds at a time.

Snap evaluates that it has over 100 million users of the service internationally. Certain reports reveal it makes 10 billion video views per day.
