Updated: WhatsApp Dismiss as Admin Feature Rolled Out for iOS

WhatsApp for iOS and Web app has added a new and the most awaited feature “Dismiss as Admin”. This particular feature allows users to remove the admin of group. The administrators of the particular WhatsApp group can also demote other admins without deleting them from the group. WhatsApp Dismiss as Admin feature is a  warning for people to behave wisely in group now.

WhatsApp Dismiss as Admin lets you Demote Admin

It should be cleared here that in order to demote an admin from group, the person should also be admin of the same group. Users will not see this option in groups where they are not admins.

Right now this feature is made available to iOS users having WhatsApp version 2.18.41 and web apps. Right now this feature is not live for the android users who will have to wait for it.

To avail WhatsApp Dismiss as Admin feature, you need to follow the following steps:

• Long press on name of another admin you want to dismiss
• Pop up menu will appear
• Tap on Dismiss as Admins

However this feature will also be misused by many people who will be able to delete admin for not linking his comments etc. Well the pros and corns of this feature will be revealed soon when more people will use it. Lets see when this feature will be launched for Android Users.

WhatsApp High Priority Notification Feature:

WhatsApp is also planing to launch “High Priority Notification” feature for Android beta users. This notification is also for WhatsApp groups. High priority Notification will let users pin important and high priority notifications to the top of smartphone’s  notification center.

This feature is more appropriate for people who are part of some office groups as they will be able to pin important notifications on the top. To avail this feature, you need to follow the following steps:

• Go to the notification settings on the group
• Tick “use high priority notifications”
• Now see the preview on the top of your screen
