WhatsApp for iPhone Gets Group Audio Calls

WhatsApp for iPhone have started receiving group audio calls. Which means that now users will soon be able to make voice calls to multiple contacts through WhatsApp directly.

On the other hand, for Android users WhatsApp has added a ‘Select All’ option that allows Android users to mark all the new messages as read or archive all your chats with a single tap. This new feature for iPhone users is introducing through a server-side update, while Android devices need to upgrade the WhatsApp beta version 2.18.60 or above.

WhatsApp for iPhone Receives Group Audio Calls

As reported at WABetaInfo by a users, that the group audio calls’ interface looks same to what you currently have for individual audio calls. To enable speaker, video call, and mute, there are buttons just below the profile pictures of the participants. However, the number of participants for group audio calls has not been revealed yet.

Presently, it has been reported that it is available to only few users. The tweet posted by the team of WABetaInfo claims that this new feature is rolling out on the WhatsApp for iPhone version 2.18.60. Which is the same version that received earlier this week the ‘Request Account Info’ feature, it allows users to download all their data that has been collected and saved by WhatsApp, such as account information and settings.
