YouTube was Down Globally due to this Reason

Yesterday, YouTube was experiencing a major outage. YouTube users across the world witnessed that the video service site and mobile apps were down at 3 PM Pst. Users were not able to access anything for more than an hour. YouTube Music and youtube TV were also affected due to the service disruption. YouTube was Down globally, however, no reason is still known. Many people reported that there was some internal issue.
In a tweet, YouTube revealed that:

.“We’re working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed,” the Team YouTube account says. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated.”

It means after more than two hours, the company was still working to sort out the problem. Many social media platforms remain down however, this is the first time that YouTube was down for such a long time.

YouTube TV went down once during the summer world cup. In Pakistan, Government had banned YouTUbe for publishing anti-Islamic film and playing with citizens emotions.

Moreover, Google is introducing audio streaming and download quality controls for YouTube Music for Android. The new video streaming quality controls will have new options in the Settings menu i.e;  low, normal, high and always high. These new options will allow users to choose the quality of Video Content on YouTube just according to their own requirements.
