Steps for activating YouTube Dark Mode feature on iOS smart devices

1. Open YouTube App on your iPhone/iPad

Unlock your iPhone or iPad and click on YouTube app icon.

2. Click on User Icon on the right corner of the YouTube app.

Once you will open the YouTube mobile app you will see your profile icon on the right top corner of the app. Click on that icon, it will redirect you to the profile settings page. You should see the settings option under switch account. Click on the “settings” option.

 

3. On Settings page, look for “Dark Theme” option.

Upon clicking the settings option you will be directed to the main settings page where you will see the “Dark Mode” feature as very first option.

 

4. Toggle the Dark Theme Option.

Once you see the “Dark Theme” option, toggle it to activate this feature. Upon selecting the dark mode feature your YouTube theme will be changed to a black background theme.
