HTC’s 5G Smartphone to Launch in H2 2019
Although Google has acquired the mobile division of HTC, the company still continue to produce smartphones. The company has not revealed anything about its new phone yet. But there are some reports about a potential 5G smartphone. Moreover, HTC’s 5G Smartphone will more likely to Launch in H2 2019.
Well, according to the official report by Bluetooth Launch studio, HTC’s 5G smartphone is on its ways. The report contains the approve of all unreleased devices that include Bluetooth support.

Furthermore, the HTC product with model number 2Q6U was listed on April 20. The official documents filed at Bluetooth Launch Studio are just a confirmation to these rumors. Unfortunately, there is not much information about the phone available yet. Moreover, if HTC does indeed plan to launch its 5G smartphone in the second half of the year, it will face fierce competition in the US where Samsung and LG will introduce their 5G handsets as well.
HTC is struggling financially, but this does not stop the company from looking into new avenues for growth. One interesting direction is that the company has launched the blockchain-enabled smartphone called Exodus. The HTC blockchain phone will basically a very safe hardware wallet for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
