Samsung is Testing the Behind-Display Selfie Cameras

As we all know that Samsung’s 2019 devices will come with in-display fingerprint scanners and a higher screen-to-body ratio According to a new report, Samsung is now testing out a new thing called Behind-Display Selfie Cameras in their flagship designs.

Nowadays, we see that in the smartphones, the requirement for front-facing cameras and other sensors means that there is a need of a bezel or a pop-out mode. However, Samsung thinks differently and is not keen interested to implement the notches. That is the reason, the company is now testing a few prototypes that make use of behind-the-screen selfie cameras.

Samsung is Working on the Behind-Display Selfie Cameras

Currently, this new technology is in developmental phases, so we can’t expect the implementation in commercial products in near future. However, according to the reports this new tech could arrive in smartphones during 2020. We can say that the Galaxy S11 might be the earliest candidate. Well if the company couldn’t introduce it in S11 because of any issues with quality then this could be pushed back to the Galaxy S12.
This is a very interesting concept. Samsung always tries to introduce something special and different in their flagship. However, it is still not confirmed that whether or not it will actually happen.
