Snapchat Introduces 3D Selfie Feature

Snapchat entered the app market with a bang, but after launching some good set of feature, it disappeared. For many months, I have not heard anything new about this photo filter until now. After a long time, the company has launched a new feature that will help you take Snapchat 3D Selfie of your body. It is great news for selfie amateurs specifically who will be able to make their 3D portray now.

This news was announced tomorrow, and the app revealed to its users that soon all users will be able to send and receive photos taken in 3D camera mode. In 3D photos mechanism, Snapchat adds depth to the image and allows users to superimpose frame, captions and accessories in different depths of photos. The photos look different to users as they rotate the camera accordingly.

Your Wait for Snapchat 3D Selfie is Going to End

The results are the same as supersaturated VR. The best thing about this feature is that users will be able to move their phones here and there to explore the photos from various angles.

The teaser of the New Snapchat Feature:

Once you got the 3D photos, there is bad news. Only users having iPhone X and above will be able to take the pictures with them. Others will only be able to look at them and get happy. It is because iPhone X is the first smartphone having a true depth front-facing camera.

Currently, this feature is only applicable one selfie mode of iPhones; however, the company has promised to bring this feature to the latest Android devices as well. So let’s don’t lose hope.
