Like all the smartphone makers, LG is also rolling out the Android 9 Pie Update to some of its handsets gradually. However, LG has a quite bad reputation in software updates as it has rolled out the Android Pie Update for only two smartphones yet. Now, the company is prepping to release the latest update for its four handsets. According to the latest reports, four LG Phones will get the Android Pie Update by the end of June 2019.
LG Phones That Will Get Android Pie Update Include V30, V30S ThinQ, V35 ThinQ, and V40 ThinQ
Recently, LG has shared a list of smartphones that will be upgraded very soon. The LG Smartphones that will receive the update by June 2019 will include V30, V30S ThinQ, V35 ThinQ, and V40 ThinQ. However, there are still no words about the exact dates of the rollout yet. Let’s see whether LG provides an update roadmap or not. The update is expected to roll out to the South Korean users first. It will make its way to the users of the other regions later.
The LG V35 ThinQ injects new energy into the V series platform with even faster performance, and enhanced photography, audio, and AI functionalities. It retains the stunning 6-inch 18:9 OLED FullVision display with QHD+ (2880 x 1440) resolution in a compact form factor that weighs only 157g and measures a thin 7.3mm.
The LG V40 comes with a notch at the top of its display, but if you are not a fan of notch then you can “hide” the notch by applying a black background to the side screen area. It comes with five cameras, including three at the back and two on the front, that gives a degree of creative freedom. LG V30S ThinQ is almost the same as the last year’s LG V30. It has a 6-inch OLED display and comes with a dual camera setup. LG V30 is a high-end smartphone that features a 6-inch QHD+ OLED Full Vision display and a Octa Core 1.9 GHz processor.
