YouTube Unveils News Logo and Features

Internet’s most famous video streaming site, YouTube, having 1.5 billion monthly users has released a new logo. With a makeover, YouTube has also launched number of new features that will bring new level of functionality and consistent look. YouTube Unveils News Logo and Features.

YouTube’s new logo and other features are launched for both Desktop and Mobile Platforms.  Other new features coming to the app include:

• The ability to change a video’s playback speed
• New navigational gestures that let you skip to the next video by swiping across your screen

This is the biggest change the YouTube logo has received over the years, as earlier improvements were much more minor tweaks, as you can see in the image below.

A part from new logo, video platform is also added to new library and account tabs. According to YouTube, the company is also incorporating ability to jump between previous and next videos for mobile App.

YouTube will let users easily change shape of videos to be vertical, square or horizontal. The company plans to enhance the ability to browse and discover at the same time while watching video.

YouTube also tweeted about a new desktop designs called Dark Theme. Dark theme turns the dark background for a cinematic experience.
